TRA Medical Imaging (TRA) consists of four wholly-owned outpatient imaging centers in Pierce and Thurston Counties. TRA facilities are accredited by the American College of Radiology and offer a wide range of imaging services.

Carol Milgard Breast Center
-
The Carol Milgard Breast Center is a non-profit, patient-centered, state-of-the-art breast imaging center jointly owned by Virginia Mason Franciscan Health and MultiCare Health System, and managed by TRA. The breast center received a founding gift from the Gary E. Milgard Family Foundation and it is named in honor of Carol Milgard, a long-time Tacoma resident, philanthropist, and 30-year breast cancer survivor.
The breast center offers a full suite of screening and diagnostic services. Our board-certified radiologists are dedicated solely to breast imaging and procedures.

Diagnostic Imaging Northwest (DINW) is a collaboration between TRA Medical Imaging and MultiCare Health System. DINW provides diagnostic radiology services at four locations throughout East Pierce County. Click here for more information about DINW locations.

Union Avenue Open MRI

Located in Tacoma, Union Avenue Open MRI is a partnership between TRA Medical Imaging, Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, and MultiCare Health System. This clinic features the only Open MRI in Pierce County.
