The Affordable Care Act went into effect on January 1, 2014 and all individuals are now required to have health insurance. This is a national effort created to ensure that everyone has access to health care, regardless of financial circumstances, even if they are sick or have a prior health issue.
Under the Affordable Care Act, screening mammography will be covered under preventive care. The Carol Milgard Breast Center is hosting this event with in-person assisters to help our patients enroll in health insurance.

We understand this process can be confusing and overwhelming. If you would like one-on-one assistance to help you learn about your options and enrollment, the breast center will be hosting a team of trained in-person assisters. These qualified personnel will be onsite to help our patients enroll in health insurance.
